If you plan to switch electricity supplier, make sure you cancel the direct debit, in case you use that option to pay your bills.
Make sure you take a look at the meter (credit or prepaid meter) once a while not only to keep electricity use under check, but also to ensure your company doesn't give you unfair bills. With electricity supply, you have the control in your hands.
